David Fruchter, NTPI, EA, ChFC
Founder and Owner
With over three decades of experience, David Fruchter is the founder and owner of Tax Advisors of Cary. He earned his B.A. in economics from Emory University in 1985 and established the firm in 1996.
David’s approach is defined by his passion for solving complex tax issues and educating clients on the intricacies of complicated tax laws. His expertise ranges from individual and business tax returns, and IRS-related matters. David is also known for his engaging blog, where he shares valuable tax advice.
Beyond his professional achievements, David values building long-term relationships with his clients, aiming to relieve their tax-related anxieties with clarity and care. He is a firm believer in creating an atmosphere where clients feel confident in their financial future. Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his wife, Leslie, and their daughter Leni. A lover of music, from Mozart to Metallica, and a passionate poker player, David embraces life with the same enthusiasm he brings to his work.

Kelley Quinn, CPA
Tax Manager
Kelley is a certified public accountant with over 30 years’ experience working in the private and public sector. She spent several years living and practicing accounting in London, England and before moving back to the states. She has also taught accounting and QuickBooks at the collegiate level. She has done tax and consulting services beyond tax, including financial analysis, strategic planning and business development. She graduated from Florida State University in 1992 with B.A. in accounting and went on to receive an M.S. in accounting.
Her passions include house renovations and flipping as well as landscape design. Her current greatest challenge is becoming Fluent in French, which she diligently pursues via local courses, travel and international immersion classes in France and Quebec. She also loves outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and walking one very stubborn Basenji dog named Cleo. She also feels great food and beverages are essentials.

Rebecca Carroll, CPA
Staff Accountant
Rebecca has enjoyed providing tax services to many clients since 2014. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics from University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2001. Several years later when she caught the accounting bug, she completed online courses from Southern New Hampshire University to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam. Rebecca received her CPA designation in 2021.
