Dear Clients,

First of all, I hope this finds you and your family well. So far, our staff has all managed to stay healthy. Because our #1 mission is to minimize the risk to our employees, clients, families and everyone we come into contact with, I have decided to put a hold on in-office face to face meetings until such time as the authorities give us the “all clear” sign.

WE WILL STILL BE WORKING AND PROCESSING TAX RETURNS!!
However, we’re going to ask that all tax information and documents be provided to us in one of two ways.

DROP OFF HARD COPIES OF DOCUMENTS
  • No appointments necessary. Just stop by the office any day, Monday-Saturday between 8am and 4pm with a folder or envelope with everything you think we’ll need.
  • Our Office Manager, Dana, she’ll be the one wearing the hazmat suit (probably just joking) will collect the files and hand them off to the accountant you usually work with.
  • We’ll get back to you with any questions, or we can schedule a phone call or video conference to share more detailed information.
UPLOAD DOCUMENTS
  • Any documents you have in digital form (scans, pictures, pdfs, XL files, etc. can be uploaded using the secure Sharefile link below
  • UPLOAD FILES HERE
  • Please send us an email once you’ve sent us everything and we’ll begin working on the file ASAP
IRS EXTENSIONS AND TURNAROUND TIMES
  • MOST IMPORTANT: The IRS has extended the time to file and pay any taxes due until July 15th. You do NOT have to file an extension unless you will be filing AFTER that date. That means if we need to file your tax return after the normal April 15th deadline, there will be NO penalties or interest if that filing results in a tax due and you will have until July 15th to make your payments.
  • EXPECT DELAYS. The process of handling data remotely has already slowed us down. A LOT. We expect that it will be a minimum of four weeks from the time we receive your information before we will be able to provide a review copy. But it could be longer.

Bottom line. We will provide you with a tax return completed to our usual high standards but will require more time this year to make that happen. For those who expect to owe money, you have a three month reprieve on paying so hopefully you can view that as a ray of sunshine through the gloom. For those who are expecting refunds, they are going to be delayed and that could be a hardship. If you feel you need to find another provider, we understand and wish you the best.

We’re Americans. We get through stuff like this and come out stronger for the effort.

Thank you for your patience and support.
